Hub International has made another acquisition in Canada; this time, swooping in for the entertainment book of business from Callow Insurance Associates.
Callow Insurance Associates is an insurance firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
A company release explained that the acquisition of this book of business “complements and strengthens” Hub’s sports & entertainment specialty practice.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Earlier this month, Hub acquired independent insurance broker Del Fisher Insurance in Calgary, Alberta. Del Fisher has been providing personal and commercial insurance solutions since 1981.
In early 2019, Hub also acquired boutique insurance brokerage and risk management firm Forum Risques et Assurance in Montreal, Quebec. Forum is another specialty insurer, which serves high-risk industries such as technology, manufacturing and construction.
