Industry Veteran takes over as Canada Country Manager

26 year industry veteran to take the helm of trade credit insurance provider

Atradius Credit Insurance has appointed industry veteran Chris Short Country Manager for Atradius Canada. Short comes to the provider of trade credit insurance from a 26‐year tenure with Coface North America where, as SVP and Country Manager, he launched and established the branch in Canada, adding a full range of Risk Underwriting, Risk Analysis and Commercial Services to the market. Prior to building the Coface brand and business in Canada, Short led international and strategic accounts throughout North America.

“Chris is a recognized leader in the trade credit insurance industry and a highly regarded expert in domestic and international business,” read a company statement released with the announcement. “He has dedicated his career to Trade Credit Insurance.”

Atradius Canada, headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario with offices in Ottawa, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec, is poised to enter a new era with Short’s arrival, says President & Regional Director, NAFTA at Atradius Credit Insurance, David Huey.
