La Capitale Insurance and Financial Group has launched its first boutique branch. The boutique will primarily serve the 12,000 healthcare professionals at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), giving them access to La Capitale’s suite of products and services.

The boutique branch was designed with the needs of healthcare workers in mind. MUHC employees and visitors will have onsite access to personalized advice on all aspects related to financial security. The facility is equipped with interactive tablets to allow consumers to browse products and services, and even request quotes. The boutique branch will also play host to a variety of information sessions, wherein relevant topics will be discussed for consumers to learn from.

“It’s a real privilege for La Capitale to be present on site in the facilities of one of the most innovative hospitals in North America,” said La Capitale chairman of the board and chief executive officer Jean St-Gelais. “Since our Mutual was founded by public service employees over 75 years ago, our priority always has been to offer public service employees attractive products and outstanding service.”

“MUHC employees take care of their patients’ physical and mental health. In return, La Capitale takes care of their financial health,” St-Gelais added.

La Capitale’s boutique branch is located at 1001 Décarie Blvd, Ground Level—the commercial galleria of the MUHC. It is open on weekdays, from 8am-8pm, and on weekends from 10am-4pm.

The boutique’s onsite services include automobile insurance, home insurance, leisure vehicle insurance, commercial insurance, life and health insurance, savings and investments, and mortgage loans.
