Liberty Mutual Canada has announced the appointment of Rob Marsh (pictured) as president, effective May 24, 2021.

Marsh has been with Liberty Mutual Canada for 10 years, during which he has held a number of key commercial and specialty leadership roles in both Toronto and Calgary. Most recently, he led Liberty Mutual Canada’s commercial insurance division, with oversight of the national underwriting, operations & innovation, and risk services teams. Under his leadership, the commercial insurance operation has more than doubled in size over the past five years.

In his new role as president, Marsh will report to Garth Pepper (pictured below), who has been at the helm of Liberty Mutual Canada for the past six years. Pepper has been promoted to president, North America Middle Market, Global Risk Solutions, which provides comprehensive solutions for midsize businesses across the US and Canada.
