To encourage Ontarians to stay safe while watching movies this summer, digital insurance provider Onlia has launched a new drive-in theatre contest.

Through Onlia’s “Drive-In To Win” contest, the insurer will award two lucky entrants per week with tickets to any Premier Cinema drive-in theatre in London, Barrie, Newmarket, Hamilton or Oakville.

No purchase is necessary for contestants to join; interested participants only have to register for the contest on Onlia’s website.

Coinciding with the contest, Onlia has also launched summer versions of its “Safety Obsessed” commercials, which will run during the Premier Cinema drive-in pre-show programs.

“Auto insurance has always been a passport to freedom. That takes on new meaning this year,” said Onlia digital PR lead Julia Stein. “After so much time shuttered inside, enjoying a movie in the safety of your car is a great way to spend a summer night.”

Last month, Onlia expanded its digital home and auto insurance offerings with a new group insurance product. The insurer now allows employers to add its auto and home insurance products to group benefits packages.
