Canadian managing general agent Revau has entered into a strategic partnership with Texas-based Brazos Specialty Risk Insurance and Twenty Mile Insurance Services, expanding its footprint in the US specialty insurance market.

Brazos provides insurance solutions for the trucking industry, while Twenty Mile offers liability coverage tailored to construction businesses. Under the new arrangement, Revau brings capital support, digital infrastructure, and data analytics capabilities, according to a statement announcing the partnership.

The deal will enhance Revau’s operational reach in the United States and broaden its role in the North American specialty insurance sector. The company described the combination as one that will allow it to better support brokers, carriers, and clients by improving efficiency and responsiveness.

“This is an incredible milestone for Revau, marking our evolution from a small regional MGA with ambitious goals to an industry leader expanding beyond Canada,” said Jean-François Raymond, president and chief executive officer of Revau.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Revau did not respond to a request for comment.

Leadership at Brazos and Twenty Mile will remain in place following the deal. Tom Spitalny, president of Brazos, and Christopher Polk, who serves as president of Twenty Mile and CEO of both MGAs, will continue in their roles. Revau said integration efforts are already in progress across underwriting, claims, technology systems, and company operations.

The companies also announced a cash-and-equity structure for the deal. As part of that structure, the leadership teams of Brazos and Twenty Mile will hold ownership stakes in Revau.

Revau said the partnership would improve its ability to analyse data to identify risk patterns and make timely decisions. It also said the combined operation would support further technology development and create opportunities for staff across all three organisations.
