Insurance Business Canada (IBC) has announced the winners of its insurance awards for 2023.

The Insurance Business Canada Awards (IBCA) is an annual event that aims to recognise and celebrate outstanding brokers, brokerages, insurers, underwriters, MGAs, and risk managers for their achievements, leadership, and innovation over the past 12 months.

Now on its eighth year, the event has become the leading independent awards program in the insurance profession across Canada.

IBCA 2023 winners

The IBCA 2023 winners across various categories are:

• Underwriter of the Year – Stacee McCulloch, SGI CANADA;
• The Armour Insurance Brokers Award for CEO of the Year – Saad Mered, Zurich Canada;
