One of the biggest names in North American insurance has opened doors to a new agency in Calgary, Alberta.

Canadian insurance agent Terence Houston has opened a State Farm insurance agency in the city and is said to be offering all of the products provided by State Farm Calgary Insurance including home insurance, car insurance, life insurance, small business insurance and commercial business insurance.

Houston is hopeful that the new agency will give Calgarians greater choice when it comes to accessing insurance services.
“As a State Farm Agent, we can offer Calgarians better insurance products, thanks to our benefactor,” he said in a release.

“Smaller firms have fewer resources and can do less. State Farm is a huge insurer with multiple locations around the continent. With State Farm Insurance on our back, we can provide more insurance products, at better terms, and at better rates. The customers get all the benefits. The only benefit we as the agency get is that we enjoy working with a renowned brand that people already trust, which is another great advantage that we aim to pass on to our local clients.”

Houston believes there is a need to be filled in the city in terms of insurance products. As such, he hopes to advertise his new agency via the internet and print media and believes his new business venture will pay off.

Houston has already accumulated vast experience in insurance and has been in partnership with State Farm since 2015.
