XL Catlin’s global claims operation has appointed Cynthia Koehler as global practice leader for casualty claims.
Koehler is responsible for overseeing a global casualty claims team of technical practice leaders that drive the resolution of XL Catlin’s largest, most complex casualty claims. Based in Hartford, Koehler reports to XL Catlin’s global head of claims Anthony Vidovich.
Koehler spent the bulk of her career at
Liberty Mutual where she most recently served as vice president and assistant general counsel.
In related news, XL Reinsurance America, this week completed its acquisition of Allied International Holdings, the holding company of Allied Specialty Insurance and THE Insurance Company, a specialist insurer of the outdoor entertainment industry in the US.
