To further strengthen the capabilities of its specialty practices, major insurance brokerage Hub International has acquired Vestas Financial Services Firm.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Montreal, Quebec, Vestas is an independent insurance firm that offers commercial and personal insurance. The company focuses on serving various industries – in particular, construction and design professionals.
Following the acquisition, Vestas president Phillipe Monette and Vestas senior vice-presidents Martin Brodeur and Patrice Gravel will join Hub International Quebec Limited.

In March, Hub acquired LSM Insurance Services – an online provider of life and health insurance solutions based in Markham, ON. LSM specializes in the hard-to-insure market, and helps clients find moderately priced life insurance.
