StoneRidge Insurance Brokers (SIB) has expanded into Quebec with the launch of SI Assurances, its first brokerage partnership in the province.
The Hamilton, Ontario-based brokerage said SI Assurances was founded by insurance professionals Fouad Zemokhol and Nory Ohanessian, and will combine local market expertise with SIB’s resources.
“We’re excited to establish our first presence in Québec through this partnership with Fouad and Nory,” said Ted Puccini, president and CEO of SIB Corp. “As we’ve built relationships in the province over the years, we’ve been looking for the right opportunity with the right people.”
Puccini said the founders’ focus on trust, integrity and client service aligns with the values behind StoneRidge’s growth across Canada.

Zemokhol, co-founder and partner, has more than 15 years of insurance experience. The brokerage’s name reflects its founding principles, he said.
“We founded SI Assurances on the principles of Security and Integrity because we believe clients deserve clear advice, personalized attention and a broker they can rely on when it matters most,” Zemokhol said.
Ohanessian, co-founder and partner, has built his career in customer service and relationship management.
“People want to feel understood and supported, not treated like a number,” he said. “Our approach is simple: listen carefully, advise clearly, protect properly and be there when our clients need us.”

Zemokhol said joining StoneRidge allows the founders to stay true to their values while expanding what SI Assurances can offer clients.
“It’s a partnership built on shared principles, mutual respect and a common commitment to helping individuals, families and businesses protect what matters most,” he said.
SIB partners with brokerages across North America, offering personal, commercial, benefits, life and specialty insurance. Its combined platform includes more than 2,000 employees, more than 230 locations and relationships with 500 carriers in Canada and the U.S.
