Personal finance application Hardbacon has entered into a partnership deal with travel insurance broker Securiglobe, to enable users of the former’s app to shop for travel insurance.

To help Canadians eager to travel as pandemic restrictions ease, Hardbacon expanded its suite of travel comparison tools in February, allowing Canadian users to compare everything from flights to hotels. The new partnership with Securiglobe now allows users to compare travel insurance, to help them save even more money on their next trip.

“Taking the time to compare prices on travel insurance can save you hundreds of dollars,” said Hardbacon CEO Julien Brault. “By teaming up with Securiglobe, we are certain to help Canadians find the best prices on travel insurance to help them spend their money on experiences that really matter this summer.”

Hardbacon has been used by over 39,000 Canadians, a release said.
