Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Martin Khalaf as a senior vice president within its Alliant Americas division.

Khalaf will be based in San Diego and serve clients across the West Coast, Alliant said. He is an experienced risk advisor with expertise in property and casualty insurance, risk management and safety.

Prior to joining Alliant, Khalad served as a senior vice president in the San Diego office of a global insurance brokerage. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Redlands.

“Martin’s proficiency in risk assessment, mitigation and management enables him to serve as a trusted partner in helping clients achieve their goals and maintain safe, successful and sustainable operations,” said Bob Bennetsen, executive vice president and senior managing director at Alliant. “His addition further strengthens our team in California and expands our capabilities within the region.”

Last week, Alliant announced the appointment of Greg Sanford as a vice president in the Alliant Americas division. Earlier this month, the national company announced the appointment of Missouri-based Ann DiPasquale as a senior vice president within its employee benefits group and New York-headquartered Marc Fells as a senior vice president at Alliant Specialty.
