The Hilb Group (THG) has hired P&C insurance specialist Beth Berardi, and has acquired her book of business.
A release said that the transaction became effective November 21, 2019.
Berardi, who is based in Braintree, MA, will join THG’s operations in New England. She brings her expertise and specialization in hospitality insurance – something THG says will “complement and strengthen [its] capabilities in the New England region.”
THG has been expanding its presence in the New England area for some time now. At the start of 2019, the company acquired P&C insurance agency Aoisio Insurance Associates in Rhode Island. And then in May, THG nabbed 360 Corporate Benefit Advisors, an employee benefits-specialized insurance brokerage with locations in Fairfield, CT and Wayland, MA.
