Hub swoops for Florida firm | Insurance Business America
International broker Hub International Limited has announced that it has acquired the assets of AM Insurance Services of Miami. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Florida-based AM Insurance Services is an independent brokerage that offers employee benefits for small to medium-sized employers. The firm’s offerings include health, life, dental, vision, disability, long-term care, and retirement planning.
Claudine Nelson, president of AM Insurance Services, and her team will join Hub South Florida as part of the deal.

The transaction is the latest in Hub’s M&A spree. On Wednesday, the global broker announced that it had acquired the assets of California–based Invensure Insurance Brokers. In October, Hub acquired Kentucky-based Peel & Holland and Washington-state based Guide Insurance Services.
