Camille Joyce Lisay

Camille Joyce Lisay is a writer from the Philippines contributing to KM International and its publications on a freelance basis. She participated in the ASEAN Writing Competition in 2019 where she was awarded first-runner up for her essay. She likewise won the ASEAN Youth Social Journalism in January 2020. In 2021, she was selected as a fellow for eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN where she served as a Project Controller for a livelihood project in Sitio Tamale, Nueva Ecija Philippines. She was part of the delegation to report the outcomes of the said project in Lombok, Indonesia in 2022. As a testament to her commitment to community development, she was selected as one of the alumni from the ASEAN eYAA cohorts to attend the eYAA Cohort 4 programme in Bangkok, Thailand in 2024.

In the Philippines, she has won national poetry slams, national writing competitions, and served as a fellow in local writing workshops. She was elected President of the National Editors' Guild of the Philippines in 2013. She served as a writer for Philippine Collegian, University of the Philippines Diliman's official student publication. She is a strong and prolific writer, with research interests in education, politics, social issues, culture, and finance.
