VANCOUVER, BC (February 4, 2019) – ClaimsPro today announced that it has acquired British Columbia-based Associated Independent Adjusters (AIA).
AIA has been providing claims handling services to communities located throughout the BC interior and on Vancouver Island, for more than 35 years. AIA handles claims on behalf of all major insurance carriers in Canada, as well as various syndicates with certain Underwriters at Lloyds of London, the government, and other private organizations. Their capabilities will both complement and enhance ClaimsPro’s existing service offering, and position ClaimsPro as an expanded presence in the province.
“We welcome the AIA team to ClaimsPro,” says Lorri Frederick, President, ClaimsPro. “We are looking forward to growing our offerings to our clients with a well-respected firm that has established roots across the province of BC.”
AIA has 29 licensed Adjusters located in 10 offices. The organization is led by its President, Steve Playford. Mr. Playford will report directly to Stacy Philips, Senior Vice-President, Western Region, ClaimsPro.
“Bringing our two organizations together is mutually beneficial,” says Stacy Philips. “AIA gives us important regional scale and expertise. This, combined with ClaimsPro’s industry leading technology platform, will enable us to continue providing the best possible products and services to our customers.”
“This is a great opportunity for our business,” adds Steve Playford. “We look forward to partnering with ClaimsPro and combining forces to deliver an increased level of service to our clients, that includes market leading technology, management expertise and greater access to knowledgeable skilled professionals.”
