The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations’ (CSIO) has announced that CAA Insurance Company has successfully launched My Proof of Insurance – CSIO’s digital auto insurance proof system.

A release said that the launch coincides with a difficult time – the COVID-19 pandemic – when both paper and in-person meeting are “less favourable.”

CAA Insurance saw CSIO’s My Proof of Insurance as its next step in digitizing its business, a company release said. The digital auto insurance proof solution offers customers a secure way to receive, store, and present their insurance documents and eSlips.

“Offering customers, a digital, efficient way to get their auto insurance cards, or eSlips, is an exciting addition to our service portfolio,” commented CAA Insurance president Matthew Turack.

Turack also praised the ease at which CAA Insurance easily implemented CSIO’s solution.

“What was especially helpful was the fact that the registration, adoption, and launch of the solution was seamless. A simple and straightforward API meant we weren’t stuck in the implementation phase for months, allowing us to launch the solution in a timeframe we were comfortable with,” the president said in a statement.

CSIO’s My Proof of Insurance solution launched in 2018. Several other insurers have already implemented the solution, including Wawanesa, which integrated the solution earlier this year.
