Aviva Canada has appointed Nav Dhillon as its new chief financial officer, starting December 2022.
Dhillon has held senior leadership roles in financial planning & analysis at RSA Canada Group and Intact Financial, where he was most recently posted prior to joining Aviva. He has also served in leadership positions in E&Y’s insurance advisory practice, serving clients in North America and Europe.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2022, Aviva posted a 10% year-over-year increase in general insurance gross written premiums to £7.2 billion (approx. CA$11.16 billion). For its Canadian business, the company recorded a GWP increase of 8% to £3.0 billion for 9M 2022.
