BrokerLink, one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurance brokerages, has added to its ranks once again with the acquisition of Alberta-based A-Plus Insurance Services Ltd. (A-Plus), effective August 01, 2019. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1989, A-Plus is a family-owned and operated general insurance brokerage, which offers customers personal home and auto insurance, as well as commercial lines of insurance including property, auto and general liability.
“This is an exciting next chapter for our organization,” said Bob Haider, president of A-Plus. “We look forward to joining BrokerLink where we will continue to do the things we excel at, while having access to the resources and support necessary to continue to grow and develop the brokerage.”
A-Plus has served the Calgary, Alberta community for over 30-years. Following the acquisition, Haider and his 10 employees will continue to serve customers as part of the BrokerLink team.

The A-Plus deal follows shortly after BrokerLink announced the acquisition of Thomson Schindle Green Insurance & Financial Services Ltd. (TSG), a personal and commercial lines insurance brokerage also based in Alberta.
