Economical Insurance has launched its new policy administration system for brokers – Vyne – in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

First announced in February, the system will allow brokers to easily match customers with the right insurance coverage for personal lines and individual-rated commercial auto. Economical revealed in a release that Vyne will launch in Ontario, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and Alberta in the coming months.

“Vyne is a key part of our ambitious strategy to focus on the customer first, drive profitable growth, improve operational efficiency, and foster innovation for Economical and our broker partners,” commented Economical Insurance president and CEO Rowan Saunders. “We are earning our place among the leaders in our industry through our strategic investments that will provide significant benefits to our brokers and customers for a long time to come.”

The broker solution suite was designed with input from brokers, to ensure that the system meets their business needs and workflow preferences while keeping up with the ever-changing expectations of customers, Economical said.

“We’re taking our personal insurance business to the next level with Vyne,” said Economical Insurance executive vice-president of personal lines Paul MacDonald.

MacDonald added that Vyne’s debut signals a “re-launch” of Economical’s entire broker-facing business, “to allow [the company’s] broker partners to thrive as consultants for their clients today and into the future.”
