La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services has entered into a partnership agreement with Quebec-based start-up Breathe Life.

Both companies partnered for the development of La Capitale’s digital application. Through the agreement, La Capitale brokers will be able to access a digital app to submit life insurance applications.

“La Capitale strengthened its commitment to a process of innovation and modernization in the last few years, and we have chosen the best partners to assist us in this endeavour,” said La Capitale executive vice-president of individual insurance and financial services Martin Delage.

Delage additionally remarked that Breathe Life’s “dynamism and agility” will allow La Capitale to meet its goal of providing fast and easy business with its partners.

“Consumer buying habits have changed dramatically, and savvy insurers like La Capitale understand that they have to give their advisors the tools they need in order to be able to provide a customer-centric service experience,” commented Breathe Life co-founder and CEO Ian Jeffrey.

Jeffrey explained in a release that the partnership also marks the launch of Breathe Life’s Advisor-Driven Module – a proprietary solution that utilizes all the knowledge Breathe Life has acquired through the products it has introduced over the past 12 months.
