Global insurance broker and consultant NFP has announced that it has made leadership changes to its Canadian operations to “support its rapid growth in the region.”

The company has named Greg Padovani as president of NFP Canada. Padovani joined NFP in 2017, when NFP was expanding its Canadian P&C operations. A release said that he played a central role in the development and integration of NFP’s Canadian operating platform, which has been identified as a key growth driver.

NFP has also appointed John Belyea to the role of chief operating officer in Canada, overseeing day-to-day operational activities and business integration. Meanwhile, Marty Shaw has been named chief strategy officer in Canada – in that role, he will work with the company’s leadership to identify acquisition opportunities and build NFP’s life insurance and wealth management capabilities in the country.

Other key appointments within the NFP Canada P&C management team include:

  • Greg Dunn to managing director, personal lines
  • Daryn McLean to managing director, commercial lines
  • Brian Timmis to managing director, private client group
  • Domenic Tesone to managing director, transportation
  • Mandeep Singh to managing director, commercial insurance operations

“With these individuals leading the way, we will build from a strong foundation to advance our strategic vision, connect current and future clients with our solutions, and expand in ways that benefit the clients we serve,” commented NFP executive vice-president, head of insurance brokerage and consulting Ed O’Malley.
