Greg Padovani – President of NFP in Canada
Padovani has served as the president of NFP in Canada since December 2019, leading NFP’s business in the region while advancing the broker’s people-first culture. He first joined NFP back in 2017 as the company commenced its property and casualty expansion in Canada. As a result, Padovani has had a significant role in developing NFP’s Canadian operating platform, which the company states has been a key driver of growth.

At the same time as Padovani’s new role was announced, NFP made the following appointments to its Canadian team:

  • John Belyea as chief operating officer of NFP in Canada
  • Marty Shaw as chief strategy officer of NFP in Canada
  • Greg Dunn to managing director for personal lines
  • Daryn McLean to managing director for commercial lines
  • Brian Timmis to managing director for NFP’s private client group
  • Domenic Tesone to managing director for transportation
  • Mandeep Singh to managing director for commercial insurance operations


NFP is focused on its communities, with leaders and employees taking part in many charitable and community service opportunities. Some of the causes that staff donate their time to and raise funds for in Canada include Autism Speaks Canada, for which NFP is in a three-year partnership; CIBC Run for the Cure, which the broker has been involved with since 2006; KRG Children’s Charitable Foundation; The Weekend to End All Women’s Cancers, which many NFP employees take part in to raise awareness and money for Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and women’s cancer research; and YMCA’s Strong Kids Program, where NFP is a key sponsor for the Brady Financial Group/Pioneer Golf Classic tournament.
