One more insurance company has renewed its full partner support of the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada’s (IBAC) Broker Identity Program (BIP).

The association has announced Pembridge Insurance’s continued support for the program, which seeks to educate the public on how insurance brokers help their clients and provide them with choice, advice, and advocacy.

As a full partner, Pembridge’s will contribute to IBAC’s other initiatives, such as the bureau’s technology leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and the bureau’s federal advocacy on the separation of banking and insurance – to protect consumers and ensure a fair marketplace.

“We continue to be proud supporters of the broker identity program and look forward to working with IBAC on the many initiatives that promote brokers’ roles as trusted advisors to their customers,” commented Pembridge Insurance president and COO Bob Tisdale.

“We greatly appreciate Pembridge’s continued investment in our broker identity program. Their support is a clear demonstration of their confidence in the broker value proposition and their commitment to customer service excellence,” commented IBAC CEO Peter Braid.

Several other insurance companies have also recently renewed their full partner status with the IBAC and the BIP.
