NFP appoints SVP, head of analytics for Canadian complex risks team

NFP has named Joseph Beesack as its newest senior vice president and head of analytics for the complex risk solutions (CRS) group in Canada.

Beesack will lead analytics for the CRS group and expand the use of statistical modelling in his new role. He will report to NFP Canada chief operating officer John Belyea.

“As we continue to grow our specialty business, we continue to make strategic investments in talented individuals with specialized skillsets,” said NFP executive vice president and P&C division head Henry Lombardi. “Joe’s deep analytics expertise, and his ability to enhance understanding of risk and drive informed decisions, will provide meaningful value for our clients.”

Earlier this week, NFP appointed Imran Pira as a senior vice president, management and professional lines – also joining the Canadian CRS group.

The broker has been busy growing out the team recently, with NFP hiring Evan Garner and Joe Seeger last month as managing directors for the group.
