Insurance broker and consultant NFP has appointed Robert Beauchamp to the role of vice president, commercial lines, in Quebec, Canada.

Beauchamp will focus on advancing NFP’s growth in Quebec. He was part of the team that joined NFP following the broker’s acquisition of Oglivy Insurance in December 2020. Oglivy Insurance is scheduled to be rebranded as NFP next year.

With a career that spans 17 years, one of Beauchamp’s most notable accomplishments includes that he served as president of Invessa – a P&C insurance brokerage firm that he founded in 2001. He has also held various marketing and operations roles with SimplAssur, Aviva Canada and CGU Insurance. Beauchamp most recently consulted with companies and executives on business development and strategy in the commercial insurance space.

As vice president, Beauchamp will report to NFP Canada senior vice president of Quebec operations France Dallaire.

“We are excited to add Robert to our team as we work to enhance our growth in Quebec both organically and through strategic acquisitions,” commented Dallaire. “Robert’s commercial insurance expertise, relationships across the province and insight on opportunities will accelerate our progress. He will be an excellent partner in developing new business that creates more value for clients and elevates our overall results.”

“I’m excited to join NFP and be part of their growth in Quebec and across Canada,” said Beauchamp. “I have a passion for commercial insurance and helping clients so being part of the NFP team is a great fit. I’m looking forward to sharing my insights, learning from my new colleagues, and creating new opportunities that benefit our clients and our collective success.”

In September, NFP appointed Lesley Munk to the role of senior vice president, associate general counsel for the company’s Canadian operations. Munk joined NFP from RSA Canada, where she spent the last nine years in several legal roles – most recently as vice president, legal and general counsel.
