BrokerLink is expanding its foothold in Ontario and Alberta through three new acquisitions.

In Ontario, BrokerLink acquired D.G. Smith Insurance Brokers and Teck Insurance Brokers Limited, while in Alberta it purchased Robinson Insurance Centre. All three acquisitions closed on November 01, 2022.

Established in 1981, the Uxbridge, Southern Ontario-based D.G. Smith Insurance offers a wide range of insurance products, including home, auto, business, and farm insurance. Following the acquisition, the team will continue to serve its local community as part of BrokerLink.

Teck Insurance in Kirkland Lake, Northern Ontario has been in business since 1964. It has served Kirkland Lake and its surrounding communities, from Temiskaming Shores to Timmins. According to Teck Insurance president John Sullivan, the broker’s top priority has always been about “finding the right insurance coverage,” to give customers peace of mind.

“We’re excited to continue to go above and beyond for our customers and community members, as part of the BrokerLink team,” Sullivan added.

Meanwhile, Robinson Insurance in Redcliff, Southern Alberta has been serving Redcliff, Medicine Hat, and the surrounding area for 25 years. It provides home, auto, business, tenants and condo insurance.

BrokerLink has revealed that it has acquired 20 brokerages during this past year. In October, the company acquired L&M Dallaire Insurance and Cryderman Insurance Brokers – both Ontario-based brokers
