The Devonshire Colts has announced Wilton Reinsurance Bermuda as the new primary sponsor of its youth program, in a partnership set to extend over the next four years.

This sponsorship includes the club’s youth development groups ranging from ages five to 15, ensuring that 20 coaches and approximately 125 young players.

Devonshire Colts runs a broad youth football program that welcomes boys and girls starting from three years old, participating in the Bermuda Football Association’s children’s, youth, and senior leagues.

Brendan Kemp, chief financial officer at Wilton Re, and the parent of a young player in the club, expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to contribute to the club’s funding.

“I have been very impressed by the community that Devonshire Colts coaches, parents, and community volunteers have created to uplift young boys and girls from all backgrounds,” Kemp said.

Zuri Darrell, president of Devonshire Colts, expressed enthusiasm about the advantages this partnership will bring to the club’s young athletes.

“We are grateful to Wilton Re for becoming the Devonshire Colts youth program lead sponsor over the next four years,” Darrell said. “Their generous support is instrumental in moving our program to new heights as we look to expand our offerings and continue to serve the community.”
