The American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) has made a number of appointments to its management team.

The national non-profit insurance advisory organization has selected Phil LeGrone to serve the newly-created role of vice-president of data and actuarial solutions. As vice-president, LeGrone will lead the data engineering and actuarial solutions teams of AAIS. He joins AAIS from Risk Management Solutions, where he was a senior director in the consulting group, and began his career in insurance at Chubb, where he surveyed commercial and industrial risks primarily from a fire protection perspective. He later moved into risk modeling for both catastrophe and non-catastrophe.

AAIS has also appointed John Rich as commercial lines product manager, where he will be responsible for the organization’s forms, manual rules, and rating information in the standard commercial P&C market and niche specialty markets – including the recently launched CannaBOP program. Prior to joining the AAIS, Rich served in a number of management positions at AIG, National Interstate Insurance Company, Century Surety Insurance Company and Seneca Insurance Company.

Rich Pelkofsky has been brought in to serve as AAIS’s farm & agribusiness product manager, responsible for the organization of property and liability exposures across a range of farm and agricultural processing enterprises. Pelkofsky was most recently the product and compliance manager for all lines at Brethren Mutual Insurance Company. He has spent over 30 years in agricultural insurance as an agent, agency owner, marketing representative, and senior product specialist in farm forms.

The organization has also hired Hiten Sanghavi to fill in the role of product manager for farm and commercial. Sanghavi has served several positions in both underwriting and actuarial at AmTrust Financial Services, Zurich North America, The Warranty Group and Liberty Mutual.

Finally, AAIS has named Linda Jancik as product manager for personal lines. In this role, Jancik will be responsible for developing and delivering personal lines advisory solutions, such as homeowners by-peril program, personal umbrella, watercraft programs, dwelling properties, and more. She has over 30 years of personal lines experience in underwriting, product management, sales, and business operations, a release said. Jancik had previously worked with Hartford, CNA and Allstate.
