RSG taps industry veteran to head Ryan Specialty Benefits

Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) has announced the appointment of John Zern as president and CEO of Ryan Specialty Benefits. In his new role, Zern will lead the development of Ryan Specialty Benefits, which focuses on wholesale benefits brokerage and managing general underwriting capabilities to serve the needs of the retail brokerage community. 

Zern has extensive employee benefits and insurance experience. Prior to joining Ryan Specialty Benefits, he served as CEO of Global Health Solutions and CEO, North America: Commercial Risk and Health Solutions for Aon.
