Travelers Canada is extending its “Stay-at-Home Auto Premium Credit Program,” providing more personal auto insurance premium relief to customers in this difficult time.

The insurer will be returning an additional 15% credit on one month’s premium per customer. This follows Travelers’ previous offer of 25% credit on a customer’s premium in April.

Just like the previous credit offer, the process will be automatic so that customers do not need to do anything else to receive the credit on a future bill. Those customers who have already paid their premium in full will receive their credit in the form of a mailed cheque, Travelers said in a statement.

Apart from the auto insurance premium credits, Travelers said that it continues to do what it can to help everyone affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The insurer noted that it had accelerated its payments to eligible brokers and pledged $5 million to assist communities impacted by the outbreak.

Travelers Canada also donated $40,000 in support of multiculturalism efforts back in June.
