Managing general agent APRIL Canada is launching a new insurance quotation tool, which allows brokerages to quickly quote construction insurance on their websites.

The new APRIL Construction FlashQuote tool allows visitors to a brokerage’s website to fill out a form to estimate their premiums for construction contractor insurance. Once submitted, users will then be immediately directed to a broker who can process the quotes produced by the tool.

FlashQuote can be embedded directly on brokerages’ websites and has a direct link to the brokerage’s APRIL ON platform, a release said.

According to APRIL Canada, the new tool is its way of helping to “accelerate” the digitalization of brokerages.

“For over 30 years, APRIL Group has cultivated a taste for adventure, conquest, entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to innovate,” a company release said. “For the MGA, simplifying insurance means offering a smooth and outstanding experience while being there for their partners when it matters.”

APRIL also revealed in a statement that it aims to become a “digital, omnichannel, agile distributor of insurance solutions and a champion of customer experience” by the year 2023.

Last year, Daphné de Vitton succeeded Sébastien Gabez as CEO of APRIL Canada. de Vitton, who previously served as director of marketing, innovation & digital, joined APRIL in 2019. In that previous role, she oversaw the launch of APRIL ON, which has nearly 3,000 broker users.
