The insurance industry is full of unsung heroes and heroines diligently mitigating and transferring risk to provide peace of mind for clients. It’s not in the nature of the industry to shout about success from the rooftops … but every now and again it’s important to take a step back and applaud your achievements.

What better way to do that than by submitting a nomination for the third annual Insurance Business Awards? The broker-focused, prestigious black-tie event celebrates excellence in the insurance industry and recognizes the outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses across Canada.

“The insurance industry has a lot of people in it who joined the industry wanting to be in a position to invoke change and have purpose,” said Brian Gomes, president and CEO at BMS Canada Risk Services, which won the 2017 award for Outstanding Customer Service by a Brokerage. “This ceremony provides a platform to recognise that type of mindset and effort.”

1. Recognition - There are over 20 categories recognizing the brokers, brokerages, insurers and underwriting agencies that have excelled in the last 12-18 months. Nominate yourself or your business now for the chance to be rewarded for your achievements.

“Winning the Markel Award for Big Brokerage of the Year was a huge achievement and the ceremony was a fantastic experience from start to finish. If anyone is hesitating, I would encourage them to jump on board and get nominating for the awards.”
